Obituary for Visien Sphabmixay
Visien (Ket) Sphabmixay, age 57, passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at his home. Born in Laos on March 3, 1964, he was the son of Noi Syvanthong Sphabmixay of Charlotte and the late Lapien Sphabmixay. Ket was a welder at Resolute Fabricators in Indian Trail He enjoyed playing the guitar in a band.
In addition to his mother, Ket is survived by three sisters, Xaysongkhame Davis and husband Quentin of Charlotte, Somphiane Banks and husband Bill of Iron Station, and Somphet Sphabmixay and husband Jimmy Roberson of Charlotte; two brothers, Tim Sphabmixay of Charlotte, and Khamla Sphabmixay of Charlotte; numerous nieces and nephews, who loved him very much.
Celebration of life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, April 10, 2021 in the chapel of A Simple Service Burial and Cremation, 451 Hospital Drive, Gastonia NC 28054. The family will receive friends following the service.
