Obituary for Veronica Marie Cunningham (Brown)

On a sunny Long Island Fall Saturday, September 27th, 1975, I started on a life-long adventure with Ronnie(Veronica M Cunningham nee'Brown) Altho the Church had to squeeze us in between two other weddings and as we left thru the side door the next one was coming in the front and altho a roll of the photographer's film was bad, and even tho the night before me and my cousins had to drive thru a flood on the Cross Island, and even tho My mom got stung by a bee, it was a wonderful day. The reception is still the best I have ever been to. Many thanks to Ronnie's parents and brothers, my parents and all the family that journeyed half way across the US, and all the other friends and family for making that day one to remember.
I must now continue that journey with just her memory. After a agonizing 41 days of not knowing where she was, on Sunday April 10th we found her thru the help of countless people here on Facebook. She Had passed away apparently peaceably on March 11th, 2022, another sunny day, in Gastonia, NC just about 100 miles away from our home here in Columbia, SC.
Our son Terry will be back here the weekend of May 7th and we are planning a get-to-gether and drop-in hopefully at Weston Lake on Fort Jackson for that Saturday. Details to follow.
