Obituary for Timothy Thomas Leach
Timothy Thomas Leach, 54, of Gastonia, passed away September 13, 2021 after a brief bout with Covid.
He was born in Brooklyn, New York on September 25, 1966 to the late Jack and Lorraine Leach.
Tim will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Marjorie and the children he adored - Elaine Sophia Parish, Sebastian Guthrie Leach, Scarlett Arianna Leach, Sabrina Marie Leach, and Severiano Julian Leach.
Tim was a veteran of the U.S. Army, which afforded him the opportunity to attend UNCC. An incredibly intelligent man, Tim excelled in college - so much that he was granted admittance into Duke University School of Law where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 1991. Tim was a former partner with the firms of Caudle & Spears in Charlotte and Bogle, Anthony & Leach in Gastonia. Tim possessed a keen mind and was admired by his peers for his legal acumen. Everyone who knew Tim liked him.
If Tim loved one thing, it was his family. Tim would regale all who would listen with the stories of his children. Whether it was Elaine Sophia's beauty, Sebastian's soccer prowess, Scarlett's impressive intellect, Sabrina's creativity or Julian's promising athleticism, Tim wanted to tell someone. Having shared more than 200 school lunches with his children, Tim may well own a record. Tim never missed anything involving his children. They were the love of his life and he gave them all the love he possessed.
The memorial service will be at the Cramerton Presbyterian Church on October 15, 2021 at 2pm.
