Obituary for Susan Grey Woodley (Beals)
Susan Grey Beals Woodley, age 61, passed away suddenly on Sunday morning, March 20, 2022, at Caromont Regional Medical Center. Born in Moore County on July 12, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Mary Francis Hall and the late Calvin Dale Beals. Susan enjoyed sewing, crafts, bird watching, flowers, and most of all being with her family.
Along with her parents, Susan is preceded in death by her brother, William Beals; and sister, Calene Beals. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Joseph Henry Woodley; a son, Chris Woodley and wife Katie; two grandchildren, Jacob Woodley and Jax Woodley; brothers, Mark Beals and Crystal; and Samuel Kaufman and Sharon; sisters, Helen Link and Robby; and Elizabeth Kaufman.
An intimate gathering to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
