Shirley Ann Jackson Warren, age 80, died on Saturday, November 5, 2022. Born in Gaston County on March 5, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Ervin and Margaret Jackson. Shirley was a member of South Point United Methodist Church in Belmont. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Owensby, a sister-in-law, Betty Long.

Shirley is survived by her husband of 60 years, James Warren Jr.; two sons, Darryl Warren of Belmont and Marty Warren and wife Angela of Kings Mountain; three grandchildren, Mary Madeline Warren, Taylor Warren and wife Emily and Matthew Warren and wife Emilee; five great grandchildren, Waylon, Gatlin, Jennings, Caroline, and Griffith; two sisters, Nancy Stowe of Cherryville and Marylee Murphy of Dallas; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 1:30pm in the sanctuary of South Point United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 1:30pm.
