Obituary for Sheila Boone (Berry)
Sheila Berry Boone, age 77, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Robin Johnson Hospice House. Born in Gaston County on August 5, 1943 she was the daughter of the late Thomas Wade and Flora Fox Berry. Sheila was a court Stenographer for many years and an avid horseman. She was a member of the Quarter Horse Association and the Court Reporters Association. She was a devoted wife and mother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles Berry, Melvin Berry and Wallace Berry; two nephews, Jeff Berry and Tim Berry.
Sheila is survived by her husband of 57 years, Vernon Boone; a son, Vernon Boone Jr. of Gastonia; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a special friend, Doris Copenhaver; and numerous nieces and nephews
A private service will be held.
