Sharon Rae Erickson Broussard
October 22, 1943, to March 10, 2022
On March 10, 2022, Sharon broke free from the shackles of her earthly body to take the hand of her Saviour.
Sharon was born October 22, 1943, in Vermillion, South Dakota to the late Alvin and Mamie Erickson. She graduated Mayfair High School, Lakewood California.
Sharon was a fun, outgoing, lover of life, a joy to be around, and loved by all. She enjoyed quilting, traveling, counter cross stitching, crosswords, time on her IPad, trying new restaurants, and most of all spending time with family.
In addition to her parents, Sharon is preceded in death by sister Sonja Allred, brother-in-law Neal Van Lierop, sister Karla Laws, brother-in-law Gary Laws, and nephew Alan Allred.
Left to cherish her memory are her beloved twin daughters Deva Broussard and Dana Broussard; sisters Carole Van Lierop and Cleo Polston, brother Kenneth Erickson, brothers-in-law Robert Allred and Jack Polston; nieces and nephews Carrie and JD Deal, John and Dawn Hardin, David and Diane Romero, Tony and Laura Van Lierop, Kimberly Back, Todd and Debbie Van Lierop, Brent and Rachel Hart, April and Curtis Kral; numerous great nieces and nephews; very special friend Peggy Hiatt and the Hiatt Family; and beloved cat Kiki (aka Spot).
At Sharon’s request, there will be no funeral services. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
