Obituary for Roger Dale Ballard Jr.
Roger Dale Ballard, Jr. age 51, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 in Hendersonville. Born in Gaston County on March 10, 1969, he was the son of Judy Willis Ballard of Florida and the late Roger Dale Ballard. He was a 1987 graduate of South Point High School. He was a supervising manager of an HVAC company and also worked in construction.
Dale is survived by his wife of 30 years, Kelly McKee Ballard; three sons, Trenton Ballard and fiancee Eva of Bessemer City, Shannon Ballard and Matthew Ballard both of Gastonia; a daughter, Brittany Ballard of Gastonia; four grandchildren, Ariana, A.J., Luca, and Tinsley; a brother, Lonnie Ballard and wife Amy of Mt. Holly; two sisters, Marina Thompson of Mooresville, and Tonya Taylor of St. Augustine; and several nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life was held on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at his home.
