Peggy Louise Bradley Wellman, age 80, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021 at her home. Born in Gaston County on May 28, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Ruth Costner Bradley. She retired from Burlington Industries after 29 years of service, and was a former Wal Mart Greeter. Peggy was a people person and enjoyed being with her family. In addition to her parents, Peggy is preceded in death by her daughter, Kellie Haskins; a sister, Betty Wyont.

Peggy is survived by a son, Jason Wellman and wife Judy of Gastonia; a daughter Cindy Cox of Gastonia; a brother, Joseph Bradley; a brother-in-law, Reggie Wyont; eight grandchildren, Kenny Blankenship and wife Jennifer, Aaron Blankenship and wife Terri, Alicia Robinson and husband Billy: Amanda Lowery and husband Glen, Emma Bell, Devon Wellman, Gabriel Wellman, and Mary Bell; nine great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family.

Celebration of life will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 in the chapel of A Simple Service Burial and Cremation, with her grandson, Rev. Kenny Blankenship officiating. The family will receive friends an hour before the service from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm
