Norma Catherine Williams Howell, age 95, died Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Woodlawn Haven in Mt. Holly. Born in Rock Hill SC, on June 16, 1926, she was the daughter of the late James and Addie Lewis Williams. Norma was a member of First Baptist Church of Stanley. She worked for Talon Zipper Company for a number of years before retiring. Norma enjoyed camping with her family, and was talented in cooking. In addition to her parents, Norma is preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Howell; two sisters, Kate Chaney and Dot Alran; and a daughter in law, Louise Howell.

Norma is survived by two sons, Larry Howell of Denver, and Benny Howell and wife Debbie of Mt. Holly; a daughter, Rickie Carpenter of Stanley; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and eleven great great grandchildren;

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Mt. Holly. The family will receive friends following the service.
