Nellie Jane Conard passed away December 17, 2021 in Gastonia, NC. She was born in Waynesville, NC to the late Jack Frizzell and Carrie Mills Frizzell.
In addition to her parents, Nellie was preceded in death by her brother, Edgar Frizzell Sr., sister, Margaret Hagen, daughter, Carrie Conard, a nephew, Clayton Arrowood and grandson, Jaquilo Simms.
She is survived by her son Leeroy Conard and wife Leah Conard and their children Bentley, Khloe, and Brandon, son Roy Dean Conard, daughters Dana Conard, Rebecca Ennis, sister Bobbie Arrowood, brother Paul Frizzell, niece, Stephanie Hogan, nephew, Edgar Frizzell Jr., grandchildren, Dalton Lee Conard, Logan Conard, great-grandson Liam Conard, Jasmin Simms, Jamyra Conard, Joshlynn Hoke, Jayda Hoke, Chyna Mutter and close friends Bud Barrett and Rosemary Brooks.
Nellie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and she loved to grill out. She enjoyed watching Carolina Panthers games and was a huge fan. She liked to travel and visit Lake Junaluska and the Cherokee area. Nellie also loved her special Yorkie named Hercules.
Nellie Conard leaves behind a large family that loved her and will miss her greatly.
