Obituary for Nancy Morton
Nancy Louvine Wright Morton, 92, died Wednesday, April 17, 2019. She was a resident of Helms-Gordon Residential Care in Fort Lawn, SC.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Wright of Lancaster, Leslie Wright of Monroe, NC, one surviving sister, Mary Knight of Lancaster, six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren; two step-children, Gail Scott of Mount Pleasant, NC, and Billy Wayne Morton of Concord, NC.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyle Morton.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm, Saturday, April 20 at A Simple Service with the funeral to follow at 2:45 pm officiated by the Revs. Brad Threatt and Josh Smith. Burial will be at Spring Hill Baptist Church in Lancaster, South Carolina.
The family requests that memorials be made to Hope Second Advent Christian Church, 6804 Morgan Mill Rd, Monroe, NC 28110 OR Spring Hill Baptist Church, 2245 Old Camden Monroe Hwy, Lancaster, SC 29720.
