Obituary for Nancy Diane Getz (Tinsley)
Heath Springs: Nancy Tinsley Getz,80, of 1853 Hoke Rd, Heath Springs, SC, passed away February 26, 2024. A native of Columbus Ga, she was the daughter of the late Ben Hill and Ruth Dorothy Spawling Tinsley. She was retired from the LM Getz Company of Georgia, a material supplier to the telecommunications industry.
Survivors include two sons, Gary and Marla Blount of Heath Springs, SC and Emory Edward Blount, Jr. of Perry, GA; a daughter Nancy Delaine Palmer of San Francisco, CA; a sister, Tonie Graniger; grandchildren, Ashley Michelle and Daniel Loy of Beaufort, SC, Abigail Spann of Heath Springs, Lindsay Labranche of Columbus, GA, Whitney Jones of Columbus GA, Cody Blount of Lake City, FL, Gary M. Blount, Jr. of Monroe, NC, Reese Palmer of Woodstock, GA and Brian Palmer of San Francisco, CA; and a number of great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date, In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Agape Hospice Care, 311 N. Main St.,B, Lancaster, SC 29720. A Simple Service Burial and Cremation is serving the family.
