Obituary for Michael Steven Bowen
Michael Steven Bowen, age 55 died on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at his sister’s home. Born in Mecklenburg County on September 27, 1967 he was the son of Donna Helms Bowen of Gastonia and the late Johnny Shuford Bowen. In addition to his father, Michael is preceded in death by a brother, Dean Bowen.
In addition to his mother, Michael is survived by a daughter, Jessica Bowen and husband Justin Mathis of Maiden; three sisters, Tammy Crisp and husband Rick, Myra Mays of Gastonia and Peggy Morris and husband Bobby; sister-in-law, Susan Bowen of Gastonia; grandson, Gideon Mathis and a host of nieces and nephews.
Celebration of life will be held on January 30, 2023 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Lake shore Christian Fellowship, 2200 Brookneal Drive Gastonia NC 28054
