Obituary for Micah Jamal-Hassan Fenn
Micah Jamal-Hasaan Fenn was born to Erin Michelle Fenn and Sharif Brown on March 27, 1998, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC-Mecklenberg County. Micah made a peaceful transition to heaven on November 14, 2023, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC at age 25.
Micah attended several schools due to us moving around- he attended: Faith Baptist Church School & St Lucie Elementary in Ft Pierce, FL Sherwood Elementary in Gastonia, NC, Liberty Middle School in Tampa FL, Brookside Middle School in Sarasota, Fl and graduated from Riverview High School in Sarasota, Fl in 2016.
Micah was a fearless young man of stand-up character with a good heart. He stood on what he believed, and you were not going to change his mind either! He always exhibited his best behavior and was always consistent with everyone- he was the same even keel person every day and treated everyone with respect. Micah loved to laugh, he loved sports, his family, and he loved to play basketball and he was pretty darn good too!
Micah was a realist. he didn’t believe in “what ifs”, and he carried that throughout his life. Micah loved watching movies, listening to music and schooling somebody on the basketball court, these were a few of his happy places. Micah was quiet and kept to himself but was always a joy to be around.
Preceding his death was his beloved Aunt Bridgette Wright and his maternal great grandmother Wilma R. Powell.
Micah leaves behind the following family to cherish his memories: Mother: Michelle Fenn Father: Sharif Brown
