Obituary for Mary Margaret Davis
Mary Margaret Tincher Davis, age 55, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at her home. Born in Springfield Ohio on December 26, 1965, she was the daughter of the late Harold Edward and Virginia Henrietta Hickerson Tincher. Mary was a member of the Shelby First Church of the Nazarene, where she served the congregation as the minister’s wife. Mary enjoyed reading and being with her family. In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by a daughter, Virginia Marie Blanche.
Mary is survived by her husband of 32 years, James “Jim” Davis; a daughter, Katherine “Katie” Davis and husband Andrew “Drew” Greene of Hickory; a son, Mikal Davis of the home; three brothers, Mark Tincher of Columbus Ohio, Gary Tincher and wife Caroline of Bainbridge Ohio, and Tim Tincher of Tucson Arizona; mother and father-in-law, James and Barbara Davis of Albemarle; a granddaughter, Lily Greene and several loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at the Shelby First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Tom Hartis and Rev. Kyle DeLong officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until 2:30pm before the service.
