Obituary for Mark Anthony Conder
On Wednesday, December 7, Mark Conder, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed
away in his home at age 65. In his final days, Mark was surrounded and cared for by those he loved.
Recently retired, Mark spent most of his time with his wife, Jaqueline Conder, listening to music,
watching Court TV, and cheering for the Panthers.
Mark was a gentle soul and a steady influence for many. He was a buoyant and playful character who
could light up an entire room with laughter at his countless stories and antics. Those fortunate to know
Mark will continue to smile at the memories he has embedded in their hearts.
Mark is survived by his wife, Jaqueline; children, Roy Harbin, Tonya & Eric Mayhue, Johnathon & Kim
Conder; Siblings, Ted & Lannette Conder, Kay Conder, Diane Farnsworth; 5 grandchildren and 4 great
grandchildren.
A service to honor Mark’s memory will be held on Saturday, January 14th, 2023, at 11am at Sunset
Forest Baptist Church in Gastonia.
