Marion Ray Sanders, age 71, passed away at his home on Saturday, February 12, 2021. Born in Gaston County on May 4, 1949 he was the son of the late Horace Marion and Rhada Rasco Sanders. He was the owner of Sanders Janitorial. Marion was a Veteran who served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He enjoyed working on computers. In addition to his parents, Marion is preceded in death by a sister, Lana Goins

Marion is survived by his daughter, Crystal Sanders and fiancee Charles Jones of Gastonia; former wife, Angela Sanders; five brothers, Jackson Sanders, Doug Sanders, Tommy Sanders, John Featherstone and Gene Sanders; two sisters, Betty Ann Sanders, and Louise Dameron; grandchildren, Hannah Sanders and C. J. Jones.
