Margaret Lance Lambert, age 81, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Robin Johnson Hospice House. Born in Greenville SC on October 3, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Hubert Wilson and Hattie Lula Mills Lance. Margaret was a charter member of Rustic Hills Baptist Church where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday School and cleaned the church. She was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who loved spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Margaret is preceded in death by a brother, Maurice Lance.

Margaret is survived by her husband of 28 years, Jimmy Lambert; two daughters, Claudette Lanning of Gastonia and Tina Emory and boyfriend Jerry Hill of Landrum SC; a sister, Lucile O’Bryant and husband George of Chesnee SC; a brother, Alan Lance and wife Gwenn of Madison; a cousin that was like a sister, Bonnie Ashley of Columbia SC; step-sons, Jason Lambert and wife Crystal of Dallas and Jimmy Bryson of Belmont; Grandchildren, nine grandchildren, Brandon Psomadakis (Courtney), Kyle Hart, Victoria Hart-Elswick (Daniel), Zach Lanning (Lauren), Ashlee Warren (Dex), Brianna Brown, Madison Lambert, Justin Lambert, and Kalie Bryson; eight great grandchildren, Michael Inman, Chase, Connor and Cade Lanning, Claire Psomadakis, Jada, Ava, and Olivia Oglesby.

Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 28, 2021 at 1:00pm in the chapel of A Simple Service with Rev. Andy Rains officiating. Burial will follow at Gaston Memorial Park. The family will receive friends an hour before the service from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the funeral Home.
