Obituary for Linda Sue Mullis (Owens)
Linda Sue Owens Mullis, age 73 passed away at her home on January 5, 2021. Born in Rutherford County on May 10, 1948, she was the daughter of the late John Thomas and Alma Sue Dalton Owens. Linda was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church in Charlotte. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends. In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her husband, James Mullis; a brother, Ray Owens
Linda is survived by her daughter, Wendy Fisher and husband Brian of Mt. Holly; a sister, Cynthia Morrow and husband Bill of Chapin SC.; four grandchildren, Chase Jones (Nevaeh), Megan Wheeler (Chad), Sara Wood (Davis), and Kenny Mullis (Yolanda); and two great grandchildren, Alexis Wheeler and Avery Wheeler.
Memorial service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Covenant United Methodist Church with Rev. Bruce Handy officiating. The family will receive friends an hour before the service, in the Parlor.
