Letricia Miriam Hord Heffner, age 83 died Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at Robin Johnson Hospice House. Born in Gaston County on July 8, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Steedly Robert and Bertha Jane Blackwell Hord. She enjoyed puzzles, collecting marbles and elephants, and being outdoors. However, her pride and joy was taking care of her children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Trisha is preceded in death by her husband Cecil Boyd Heffner; two brothers, Kenneth Hord, and Eugene Hord.

Trisha is survived by three daughters, Pamela Heffner, who took care of her mother, of Gastonia, Tammy Russell of Mt Holly, Sherry Bobo and husband Kevin of Gastonia; a son, Steven Heffner and wife Gail of Gastonia; six grandchildren, Brad Russell, Jaima Russell and husband Aaron Gregg, Ethan Bobo, Meghan Bobo, Tyler Heffner and Shannah Heffner; two great grandchildren, Morgan Heffner and Cole Gregg; a brother, James Hord and wife Cynthia; sisters-in-law, Vickie Hord and Laverne Kelly; and her beloved pets.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022, in the chapel of A Simple Service Burial and Cremation from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
