Obituary for Leigh Ann Humphries (Westmoreland)
Leigh Ann Westmoreland Humphries, age 51, died Friday, March 18, 2022 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. Born in Gaston County on April 26, 1970, she was the daughter of Wanda Ann Wilfong Jones of Gastonia and the late Blair James Westmoreland. Leigh Ann enjoyed watching the Cowboys and playing with her grandchildren.
In addition to her mother, Leigh Ann is survived by her husband of 28 years, Jeffrey Scott Humphries; a son, Tyler Humphries and Aubrey Cogdill of Belmont; two daughters, Kylie Bess and husband Darien of Cherryville, and Allyson Humphries and fiance', Kellen Wilbanks of Cherryville, four grandchildren; Lincoln, Brax, Konley, and Lucas; mother-in-law, Brenda Reiniger of Dallas, Sister-in-Law; Lisa Spencer and Herman of Mount Holly, Nephew; Brandon Spencer and Chasity of Dallas, Great Nieces; Kaytlin and Madison and best friend, Jennifer Simpson.
Celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of A Simple Service. The family will receive friends an hour before the service.
