Obituary for Kenneth Ray Lingerfelt
Kenneth Ray Lingerfelt, age 43, died Thursday, January 19, 2023 at his home. Born in Cleveland County on May 21, 1979, he was the son of Bobbie Jean Cole Smith and husband Steve of Gastonia. Kenny was a member of the Free Will Baptist Faith. He enjoyed riding horses, hunting and fishing, Kenny was an outdoorsman.
In addition to his mother, Kenny is survived by his wife April Miller; a son, Eric Locklear of Gastonia; Sister, Kimberly Reed, Step sister, Megan Smith; a brother, Timmy Lingerfelt; step brothers, Andrew Smith and Justin Smith.
Memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of A Simple Service Burial and Cremation. The family will receive friends following the service.
