Kathy Elaine McCuen, age 67, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at her home. Born in Gaston County on September 23, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Roy Rudolph and Edith Deaton McCuen. Kathy worked as the manager for B & G Rubber Stamps for 20 years before retiring. She loved her family and her friends and enjoyed spending time with them; there was always a party when she was around. In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by a brother, Larry McCuen.

Kathy is survived by her daughter, Michelle Rogers of Belmont; three grandchildren, Josh Lancaster and wife Allison, Greg Lancaster and wife Shelby, and Cassie Abernathy and husband Chase ; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Dart Truesdale and husband Bruce of Bessemer City, and Diane Baldwin of Gastonia; a brother, Allen McCuen and wife Karen of Belmont; best friend that she loved like a sister, Bobbie Queen of Ranlo; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of A Simple Service Burial and Cremation. Family will receive friends following the service
