Justin loved life and had many talents. By watching and spending time with his' Papaw Basil', He was taught and able to fix about anything that was broken. He was always willing to help and lend a hand when called upon from anybody that needed him.
He loved the outdoors and specifically taking trips to the North Carolina mountains to camp.
He also loved to fish, a passion he inherited and which was formed by the special bond he shared with his 'Papaw Jr'.
Justin was a very talented sketch artist artist and wood carver as evidenced by stacks of sketchbooks and the gifts of homemade walking sticks intricately carved with animals, reptiles and other details. He loved long talks and deep conversations. He had a great sense of humor and the more you laughed the funnier he got. He was also blessed with high intelligence.
Justin considered himself to be most blessed by the gift of his children. In his heart- his children were what made his world keep turning. He has two sons William Garland age 7 and Lennox Garland age 6 and a daughter Anala Garland age 10 of Stanley NC.
Heartbroken and feeling his loss with deep grief in addition to his children are his parents Angela Garland of Dallas NC and Kenneth Garland of Ellenboro NC. He also leaves behind to cherish his memory his maternal grandmother Lucille Jarnigan. He leaves a great void in the heart of his paternal grandfather William Nathan Garland Jr., who not only shared his life with Justin but his home as well. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Jackie D Garland of Gastonia NC and his maternal grandfather Basil Jarnigan of Dallas NC.

Justin was very loved and returned that love to other Aunts, Uncles cousins and extended family and friends as well.
While camping in the mountains with family and after sitting around the fire pit laughing and talking until the early hours of the morning, Justin found the time to write in gold the following words in his Bible with the caption "July 4th 2019- Robbinsville NC."
"My Lord is a loving, merciful and forgiving God.
Lord, Thank You for this amazing beautiful life that you have blessed me with..
The only thing that I ask is that in your judgment of me that you will show me mercy.
...I am your child, Amen. Justin Garland"
