Our Mother Joyce Thompson Key, 83, was called home to Jesus on December 21, 2022. She passed peacefully with her family and friendsby her side. She was born on November 24, 1939 in Gaston County,
N.C. She was preceded in death by her parents William Henry Thompson and Maude Strickland Thompson, her brothers Johnny and Jimmy Thompson, her sister Thelma Thompson Hill, her granddaughter
Crystal Lynn Stiles, her son-in-law Joel Russell, and her beloved husband Fred James Key.
She is survived by her children Terri Stiles Pulcine (Charlie), Kim Stiles Gibson, Tracie Stiles Russell, Scott Stiles (Lisa),
Kenny Stiles (Stephanie), sister Ethel Thompson Beavers, 7 loving grandkids and 11 precious great grandkids. She was a member of Gaston Baptist Church of Dallas, N.C., where her memorial service will be officiated by Rev. Richard Gaddis on January 7, 2023 at 3:00 PM. Special love and appreciation to our cousins Sandra Rushing and Tammy Coggins.
