Joseph (Big Joe) Warren Bradley Sr. Passed away in his sleep from Cardiac Failure at Gaston Memorial Hospital on Saturday June 5th around 12:05 A.M. He was a Native of Gaston County who was beloved by many. A Man of Many Talents, literally a "Jack of all Trades but a Master of none", Joe was a man passionate about the history of Gaston County and its many Towns and Peoples. He knew many people as he was one of the most outgoing people one could possibly meet. Pilot, Pianist, Geneologist, Farmer, Machinist,(He Served in the Army Missile Corps), Joe was a man who could do what needed to be done when it mattered the most. Joe would go to the greatest lenghs to help a friend. He is Truly one of a dying breed. He Attended Ashley High School and Briefly Hunter Huss High, Had College Courses from Gaston College, was an outstanding Reseacher, Father, and for over 50 Years he visited the Waffle House regularly. A Joker and a kidder, he was much like a kid himself, Truly a Man who had many shortcomings to some, but a good friend to many. Joe was a man of deep convictions who would not budge an inch. A True Conservative in the end. He is Preceeded in Death by his father Norman Palmer Bradley, Mother Ruth Heffner Bradley, Grandad Joseph Wailliam (Laughing Will) Bradley, Sisters, Peggy Bradley Wellman, Betty Bradley Wyont, Brothers Jim Rogers, George Rogers With Many more Siblings deceased. Joe has 9 surviving Children, Joseph Warren Bradley Jr., Thomas Wayne Bradley, Emma Bradley Smith, Megan Bradley Coleman, John William Bradley, Michael Bradley, Frank Bradley, William Donald Bradley and Shannon Bradley. Joe has 23 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren. Also included are many Nephews, Neices, Great Nephews and Neices. His Ex-Wife Wanda Eudy, and his Stepchildren whom he loved Paula Mcabee and Dwayne Barlow. He had one Deceased Wife he was Married to who passed, Lorie Fields Bradley. Of special mention is a Very Good Friend Richard Taylor Hill of Cramerton. His Good Freinds Sid, Chip, James, Charles (Bouncer) Thompson, and Very Good Friends Who passed before him, Ricky Williams, Christopher Carpenter, And Melvin Graham. All of the Greeks at The Captains Cap dad loved so much. They were especially special to him, Spiro, John, and Steve. The Guys down at B&W Auto in Belmont Robert Blake and Kurt. Joe was a man who was special to many, but in the end he was my hero!!! I love you dad and I will miss you forever. Say Hi to Paw Paw and Maw Maw for me!!!
