John Daniel Presley, age 54, died Monday, October 23, 2023 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. Born in Wayne County Michigan, he was the son of Rebecca Jane Bray Presley of Cherryville and the late Lyndon K Presley. John worked for over 20 years at Metro Cab in Gastonia. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and being with his family including his grandchildren. In addition to his father, John is preceded in death by three grandchildren.

In addition to his mother, John is survived by his wife of 32 years, Melissa Phillips Presley; three daughters, Tiffany Lazenby and fiancee Wesley of Gastonia, Amber Thomas of Gastonia, and Amber Presley of Cherryville; a brother, Chris Presley of Cherryville; six grandchildren, Destany, Destiny, Hunter, Alyssa, Kasey, and Abigail.

Celebration of Life will be announced in the coming days.
