Obituary for Jeanette Collins (Short)
It is with Great Sadness that the family of Jeanette “Maw” Collins, announce her sudden passing on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at the age of 96. Maw was the daughter of the late James Wilson and Ida Belle Battle Short. Maw will be lovingly remembered by daughter Elizabeth; grandchildren, Branon, Ashton, Madison, Morgan, and Chase; great grandchildren, Tori, Tyler, Hunter, Kelsey, Adam, Kaylin, Preston, Brody, Jace, Aubrey, Dalton, Kason, and Palmer; and numerous other family and friends.
Maw is preceded in death by her husband Guilford, children, Sherry, Phillip and Marlon; sister Pauline, and brother Lawrence.
Gathering of friends will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 at A Simple Service Burial and Cremation, 451 Hospital Drive, Gastonia.
