Obituary for Jacob Daniel Hawthorn

Jacob Daniel Hawthorn, a son, a brother, an uncle, and a friend to all that knew him, passed away at home unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 22nd, at the young age of 43.
Jacob is survived by his father, Douglas Hawthorn, brothers Jason Hawthorn, Joshua Hawthorn, Justin Hawthorn, sister's Jesse Bliss and Anne Hawthorn, nine nieces and nephews, Amelia Hawthorn, Graham Hawthorn, Jaren Hawthorn, Warren Hawthorn, Gabriel Melendez, Tyler Bliss, Kaylyn Bliss, Chloe Hawthorn, Douglas Hawthorn, and great nephew Ryan Bliss. The love he had for his nieces and nephews was immeasurable. He is preceded in death by his mother, Debra Hawthorn, and brother James Hawthorn.
Jacob's love of music, playing drums and guitar, was felt sincerely by all who had the pleasure of listening. Jacob was not only a talented musician, his humor and the art of making people laugh brought a smile to everyone he met. He was a shining light in people's lives even if he didn't realize this important role that he played. The running joke in our family was "everyone loves Jake.” How true this has been in everyone's lives and always will be in our memories of him. Jacob was always "that guy" who would be there to lend a hand whenever called upon, no questions asked. He was a wonderful peacemaker anytime there was a rift; he always saw both sides. He was just "that guy.” Jacob, you will leave a void on this earth and in all of our lives. You were quite a special human being. You will be forever missed and never forgotten—your humor, talent, and light will live on forever.
The Hawthorn Family will be having a "Celebration of Life" for Jacob on July 24th at Jason and Anne's house. For further details please feel free to reach out to anyone in the family.
