Freddie Dean Wray, age 64, died on Monday, March 14, 2022 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. Born in Cleveland County on March 8, 1957, he was the son of the late Fred Franklin and Margie Nell Jones Wray. He enjoyed drag racing and loved his animals. He was a devoted husband and loving father. Freddie worked as a contracted Electrician for various companies. In addition to his parents, Freddie is preceded in death by a brother, Charles Wray, and a step daughter, Shelli Bolten.
Freddie is survived by his wife of 22 years, Vanje Lawing Wray; a son, Robert Dean Wray and wife Felicia of Rock Hill SC; he chose to be the father of; Tosha Perry of Charlotte, Billy Bradshaw and wife Abby of Kentucky, Stasha Bradshaw of Gastonia, and Brandi Johnson of Gastonia; a sister, Sissy Rodgers of Rock Hill SC; 10 grandchildren; and two nieces.
Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, March 21, 2022 at 2:30 pm in the sanctuary of Lowell Church of God.
