Evelyn Lineberger Rednour Thompson, age 91, passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at her home. Born in Gaston county on February 25, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Walter G and Mildred Lineberger. Evelyn was the Director of Purchasing for Gaston Memorial Hospital and later was the owner of The Mill Outlet in Mt. Holly. Evelyn loved spending time with her grandchildren, taking care of her animals, and preparing meals for her family. In addition to her parents, Evelyn is preceded in death by her two husbands, Jack Rednour and Pat Thompson; four brothers, Gentry, Lewis, Harold and Joe Lineberger; and a sister, Mary Roberts.

Evelyn is survived by two sons, Raymond J. Rednour, Jr, and Wayne Rednour and wife Angela all of Gastonia; two grandchildren, Anna Rednour and Tucker Rednour; two sisters, Patsy Turnipseed, and Janet Rednour and husband Pete all of Gastonia; and nieces and nephews.

Private service will be held at a later date.
