Euwilda Wallace Rose, age 95, died on Monday, November 7, 2022 at her home. Born in Gaston County on February 11, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Dennis James and Vacie Norman Wallace. Euwilda was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Dallas. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and being with her family. In addition to her parents, Euwilda is preceded in death by her husband, Hal Harmon Rose Sr.; a son, Hal Harmon Rose Jr.

Euwilda is survived by three daughters, Beverly Snow of Dallas, Martha Rose of Dallas, and Brenda Cloninger and husband Tim of Stanley; four grandchildren, William Snow and wife Becky, Jennifer Barber and husband Wes, Matt Snow and wife Beth, and Jonathan Rose and wife Michelle; nine great grandchildren, Madisyn, Kylie, Emma, Megan, Cameron, Laila, Allyson, Colton and Katelyn.

Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 12:00 pm in the chapel of A Simple Service Burial and Cremation with Pastor Wesley Frye officiating. Burial will follow at Gaston Memorial Park. The family will receive friends an hour before the service from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
