Obituary for Elizabeth Anne Martin (Foster)
Elizabeth Anne Foster Martin, “Anne” age 81, passed away Friday, April 19, 2024 peacefully at her home. Born in Cleveland County on March 24, 1943, She was the daughter of the late John Foster Jr. and Lorina Georgie Terry Foster. Anne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and enjoyed her family, friends, and entertaining. She was a retired hairdresser and owner of Crown Creations Hair Salon in Lowell.
In addition to her parents, Anne is preceded in death by her loving husband, Mackie “Little Mac” Martin Jr. and her loving sister Janie Rockholt.
Anne is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Weldon of Gastonia, Lori Burcham and husband Steve of Crouse; a son, Benjamin Briggs of Lowell; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Private service will be held at a later date.
