Elaine Blue, age 65, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021 at Novant Health Hospice and Palliative Care in Charlotte. Born in Washington DC on December 30, 1955 she was the daughter of the late Henry David and Anna Jean Terry Blue. Elaine was an owner of her own Beauty Salon where she worked for many years. She was a member of the Women of the Moose Club in Belmont. Elaine enjoyed crocheting and sewing. In addition to her parents, Elaine is preceded in death by her husband, Roger Dell Tant; two brothers, Vester Reed Blue and Elwood Collins.

Elaine is survived by her son; Brian Royal and spouse Sam of Gastonia; a daughter Rose Stoner of Goose Creek SC.; two sisters, Linda Bonin and husband Harold of Pikeville, Lynne Page and husband Vann of Louisburg; a brother, George Michael Blue of Raleigh; two grandchildren, Brittany Stoner and Brandon Stoner

The family will have a private service at a later date.
