On August 28, 2021, Edgar Clyde Alexander Jr. (Eddie) went home to be with Jesus. He was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was preceded in death by his mother Janie Magdalene Jenkins and his son Mark Allen Alexander. He is survived by his father Edgar Clyde Alexander Sr., his son David Alexander; his four grandsons, Mark, Ryan, Logan, and Andrew; his brothers Tommy Alexander and Jason W. Alexander Sr., his girlfriend Dawn Beaver; two daughters-in-law Shelly Alexander and April Alexander and numerous nephews nieces, cousins, and friends.

Funeral arrangements for Eddie Alexander: Friday, September 3, 2021 at South Gastonia Church of God located at 310 Carolina Avenue, Gastonia, North Carolina 28052. Visitation begins at 12:00 and the Funeral will immediately follow at 1:00PM
