Obituary for Doyle Kinion Dailey III
Doyle “Jody” Kinion Dailey III, age 42, died on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at his home. Born Gaston County on February 23, 1980, he was the son of Thomas Michael McLaughlin and Nora Gibson. He enjoyed martial arts, and boxing. Jody is preceded in death by his grandmother, Bessie Gibson, Uncle, Verlon Gibson Jr. and a niece, Rileyann Bradley.
In addition to his parents, Jody is survived by his grandfathers, Doyle Dailey of Gastonia and Verlon Gibson Sr; a daughter, Emily Edwards and husband Bobby of Greensboro; a son, Michael Lubas of Kings Mountain; a brother, Don Dailey of Hickory; nephews, Matthew Dailey of Gastonia, Ryder Dailey of Gastonia; Aunt and uncle, Ruby and Howard Gatlin of York SC.; cousin, Amanda Gatlin of York SC.; and other loving family members and numerous friends.
Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at 1:00pm in the chapel of A Simple Service Burial and Cremation. The family will receive friends an hour before service from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm.
