Obituary for Donna Nichole Morris (Harper)

Donna Morris born on December 24, 1978 and passed away on August 11, 2019 at CMC Main in Charlotte. Donna fought a good fight and stayed the course until her Savior called her home. Donna was loved by so many and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Her memory will live on in each life that was so fortunate to be affected by her love during her time here on earth.
Donna "Diva Doll" Morris was a once in a lifetime soul that so many people had the pleasure of knowing. She laughed a lot and always had a smile on her face. Donna was a loving and faithful wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece and Gigi. Her pride and joy were the love she had for her family and friends.
Donna was precede in death by her brother Scottie Harper. She is survived by her husband Chad Morris, parents Jeff and Tammie Fletcher, sons Dre Harper, Darian Moss, Damond Morris and Tristen Moss, daughter Cierra McSwain, sister Frankie Hester (Mark), Angie Durham (Devin), her brother Russ Fletcher, Grandchildren Galaxy Harper and Braiden McSwain, along with several nieces and nephews.
Donna was a woman of many interest and loves, but perhaps the ones that brought her the greatest joy were the ones that called her "Gigi". Galaxy and Braiden were so special to her and gave her so much love and joy. It was the highlight of her day and caused her eyes to light up anytime she was around her babies. To say that their lives brought joy to her and her family would be an understatement.
Donna's life will be celebrated on August 17, 2019 at Anchor of Hope Tabernacle, 3718 Dallas High Shoals Highway, Dallas, NC 28034.
Receiving of friends will begin at 1:00 pm and a Celebration of Life service will follow at 2:00 pm. The family ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478 Oklahoma City, OK 73123 or donations can be made by phone by dialing 1-800-227-2345.
The family would like to give their sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who has been a support to them at this time. God bless you all.
