Obituary for Delores Jane Dameron (Simmons)

Delores Simmons Dameron (Dee), 56, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Robin Johnson House. She was the daughter of the late John D. and Rachel Simmons. She worked at Ashley Women’s Center. Survivors include her husband, Mike Dameron, son, Chris Parnell (Mandy),grandchildren, Ashlyn, Myla, and Houston, brothers, Raeford Simmons (Sandra) of Burlington, NC, Jim Simmons, of Gastonia, sisters, Carolyn Moore (Jerry) of Gastonia, and Debbie Mims of High Shoals, nieces and nephews, mother-in-law, Peggy Dameron, and her AWC family.
A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 8, 2018 at First United Methodist Church, Gastonia with Dr. Rev. Jim Westmoreland officiating. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Robin Johnson House , PO Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054.
