Obituary for David Roy Pickelsimer
David Roy Pickelsimer, age 52 died on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at his mother’s home. Born in Gaston County on February 1, 1971, he was the son of Brenda Faye Murray Isley of Gastonia and the late David Harley Pickelsimer. David enjoyed fishing and riding his Harley Davidson. In addition to his father, David is preceded in death by Martha and Roy Murray, step father, Ronnie Lee Isley and a nephew, James Harley Allman.
In addition to his mother, Brenda Isley, David is survived by two daughters, Madison Pickelsimer of New York, Kayln Quinn of Kings Mountain; a son, Dawson Smith of Charlotte; a sister, Linda Allman of Gastonia; brother, Richard Pickelsimer and Dana of Taylorsville; a granddaughter, Olivia “Lulu” Underwood.
Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of A Simple Service Burial and Cremation. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm before the service.
