Obituary for Danny Pressley
Danny Ray Pressley, “Our Popie”, 68, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.
Mr. Pressley was married to the love of his life, Marion Fay Parker Pressley. He was a lifetime member of The Church of God and was retired from Kimbrell’s Furniture. He loved spending time with his family, cutting grass, and watching wrestling.
Mr. Pressley was preceded in death by his father, Al Smith Pressley.
Mr. Pressley is survived by his mother, Katie Kathleen Tillman Pressley; wife, Marion Fay Parker Pressley; son, Jerry Ray Pressley (Louise Eubanks), daughter, Necole Lee Williams (Timmy Williams); brother, James Marion Pressley ( Emma Pressley); sister, Sharon K. Helms (Sam Helms); five grandchildren; one great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm Saturday July 27, 2019 at A Simple Service Burial and Cremation. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Pressley will be held at 2pm at the funeral home officiated by the Rev. Eddie Usher, burial will be private.
The family will also receive friends after the service at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Pressley.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of SC 110 Dillion Dr. Spartanburg, SC 29307.
A Simple Service Burial and Cremation is serving the Pressley family.
