Obituary for Daniel Thomas Gudelunas
Daniel Gudelunas, age 66, resided in Gastonia and lost his battle with AML Leukemia at CaroMont Regional Medical Center on June 15, 2021. Daniel was born in the Panama Canal Zone to Peter and Sarah Gudelunas.
He was survived by his sister Fawn, his brother Peter, 4 children and 7 grandchildren. Daniel married Carol Hulse and they had three children: Cedar, Zachary and Zane. Daniel attended Pinecrest Bible Training Center and in 2000 married Eileen McCourt. They had one child: Daniel Peter Gudelunas. Daniel was an excellent cook, wrote Christian songs, loved gardening, and worked in tree service, roofing, construction, electric and plumbing. He worked serving many ministries, the victims of Katrina, and those financially challenged. He will be missed more than words can convey, but we rejoice that we will be reunited in heaven someday!
Funeral services for Daniel will be held on July 7, 2021, at 7 p.m. at Parkwood Baptist Church, 1729 E Garrison Blvd., Gastonia, NC.
