Dana Edward Pittman, age 68, died Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. Born in Gaston County on April 21, 1955, he was the son of the late James Edward and Margaret Lucille Presswood Pittman. Dana was a 1973 graduate of Ashbrook Highschool and went to college at Sacred Heart in Belmont and was a proofreader at Wallace Computer Services. He enjoyed watching Sci-Fi movies and reading. In addition to his parents, Dana is preceded in death by two brothers, James Michael Pittman and Kevin Presswood Pittman.

Dana is survived by a brother, Shannon Pittman of Gastonia; a sister, Margaret Renee Webb of Gastonia; nephew, Derek Webb and wife Jennifer of Belmont; and a host of great nieces and nephews

The family will hold a service at a later date.
