Obituary for Cynthia Irene Kola (LeRoy)
Cynthia (Cindy) Irene Kola went to be with the Lord on December 25, 2022. Born to Irene Luckey (John) and John L. LeRoy (MaryEllen) on January 17, 1963 in Grosse Pointe Michigan. She graduated from Sterling Heights High School in Sterling Heights, Michigan and moved to North Carolina in 1985.
An accomplished cross-stitcher, she created many beautiful pieces. Cindy was always a kind and considerate person to her family, friends and tenants at Morningstar Storage in Gastonia, where she was employed as an office assistant. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, John Pietrowski, (Cadie), her grandson Elliot Pietrowski, mother Irene Luckey (John) father John LeRoy (MaryEllen), sister Kristina LeRoy, niece Jasmine LeRoy and beloved aunt Mary Furi (Geri).
Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at 11:00 am in the chapel of A Simple Service Burial and Cremation. The family will receive friends following the service.
