Obituary for Cora Bell Jones (Cook)
Cora Bell Cook Jones, age 82, died Friday, April 2, 2021 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. Born in Mooresville on October 10, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Ted and Aretta Hambright Cook. Cora was a CNA for a number of years working at various nursing homes. In addition to her parents, Cora is preceded in death by her husband James Jones, a son, James Richard Jones; a sister, Evon Lambert, and two brothers, Ronald Cook, Nathan Hambright.
Cora is survived by a son, Gary Jones of Mooresville; two daughters, Cynthia Murray and husband Ken of Gastonia and Toni Jordan and husband Darryl of Mooresville; a brother, Ander Cook and wife Pam of Statesville;11 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
A private service will be held at a later date.
