Obituary for Charles Matthew Parker
Charles Matthew Parker, age 49, died Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. Born in Gaston County on July 23, 1972, he was the son of Zora “Zoe” Burchfield of Gastonia and the late Charles Ellison Parker Jr. When Matt was able, he enjoyed deer hunting and being with family.
In addition to his mother, Matt is survived by his wife of 28 years, Kristy Sheets Parker; two sons, Shawn Parker of Gastonia and Justin Parker of Gastonia; a brother, Brandon Parker of Gastonia; a sister, Brittany Parker of Gastonia; a step mother, Robin Parker of Gastonia.
Private service will be held at a later date.
