Charles Olin Lambert, age 71, died on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at his home. Born in Gaston County on January 12, 1952, he was the son of the late James Olin and Margaret Duckworth Lambert. He attended Independent Baptist Tabernacle Church. He worked as an independent HVAC Technician and he enjoyed fishing. In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his Peggy Moss Lambert; a son, Tim Smith; a brother, Joe Lambert; a sister, Anita Lambert.


Charles is survived by his son, Scott Smith of Dallas; a sister, Ruth Lambert of Crouse; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; Special nephews, Robby Lambert and Phillip Carter; and a host of other loving nieces and nephews.
