Obituary for Brian Keith Barker
On December 29th, 2020, Brian Keith Barker went to rest at his final home with the Lord.
He was born to parents Arnold Barker and Faye Batton in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, on November 14th, 1960.
Throughout his successful career, he always made time for the bigger joys in life like golf with friends, vacations with family, and time with God. Keith was always known to have a fun loving spirit and was able to make anyone smile in any situation. Cracking a joke in an awkward moment was his specialty and a welcomed comedic relief.
Keith was fortunate enough to experience all that life had to offer, the good and the bad. Throughout all of his life experiences he remained humble and thankful. Keith also showed his daughters Melissa, Mandi, and Brittany what it meant to work hard, love God and persevere through any situation.
In the last few years of his life, Keith's body was disrupted by illness. Just like he dealt with all experiences in life, Keith managed his illness with strength, dignity, and wanted to spend as much time with his loved ones as possible. During his final days, he was surrounded by his children, who he adored more than anything else in the world.
Keith is survived by his 3 loving daughters, Melissa Barker, Mandi Barker Gonzalez and Brittany Anselmo, his sister Sharon Barker and his beloved dog Brock.
Keith will be sorely missed and fondly remembered.
