Benny McCuen Buchanan went home to his Savior on July 11, 2022. He was born into the Grady Brown and Josephine Turner McCuen family of Lowell on July 19, 1954. Adopted at an early age, Benny valued all family ties. He never missed a McCuen Reunion or chance to express his love. Benny often recited John 3:16 to express God loves us and wants us to be with Him forever. Preceded in death by wife Becky, son Adam, adoptive parents Jack and Arizona Buchanan.

Survived by brother Bud, granddaughter Crystal,best friend Michael Kerley, McCuen cousins. Cousin Deborah Stroupe loved Benny with much devotion. Cousin Carolyn Wylie has adopted his beloved fur babies, Bitsy and Wiggles.
