Obituary for Barbara Lou Faile (Starnes)
Mrs. Barbara Starnes Faile, 72, of Lancaster SC, died Sunday, December 30, 2018.
Born September 29, 1946 in Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Louise Starnes. She was preceded in death by husband C.L. Faile, a sister Yvonne Starnes, and a brother Hughey Starnes.
Survivors include sons, Alvin Faile and wife Lisa of Lancaster, and Allen Faile of Elgin; daughter, Wanda Faile Schroen and husband Steve of Clover; brothers, Marvin Starnes and wife Judy of Lancaster, and Nelson Starnes and wife Naida of Lancaster; sisters, Nancy Carolyn Alford and husband Donza of Lancaster, and Annie Grace Faile of Lancaster; three grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 1 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at A Simple Service of Lancaster. A funeral service for Mrs. Faile will be at 2:00 pm on January 2 in the chapel of A Simple Service officiated by Rev. Daniel Porter. Interment will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.
